Absolutely Horrible!!! I ordered through Door Dash a rib plate, beef plate, beans, and 3 regular teas. I had to throw away the beef plate. The beef was dried out and bland. I thought it was supposed to be brisket, but I think it was a different cut of beef. I might be wrong. If it was brisket, then take another star off. The ribs were ok. What really made me mad is that I ordered 3 regular teas at about $4.75 per 20oz cup. I didn't order the sweet tea option. The tea was so sweet it tasted like syrup. I have to drink unsweet tea for health reasons. So that was another $15 thrown away. The beans taste like Bush's Beans from the can. Maybe it's a coincidence. I like Bush's beans, but for a BBQ restaurant... they are very generic beans. I can't recommend this restaurant. I just threw away $30 of food and drink. Absolutely Horrible!!!

As Ever, Pretty Much the Best Burger in Miami, the char on the patty is un matched, fries Coleslaw are great as well, their flavors are dialed in over decades of expertise, SIMPLY Joyful!

Authentic American BBQ with incredible flavor! 🍖🇺🇸🔥 Say whatever you want about this restaurant, but their staff is amazing and their food is on another level! If you truly want to experience authentic American culture, this is the place to be. Even though it's located right in the city, it has a wonderful, rustic country vibe. The portions are very generous for the price, so make sure you come hungry and ready to eat—and maybe get your hands a little dirty, because we're talking about real ribs here! A fantastic spot all around.

Such a lovely place this. I don't live in Miami but I'd just landed and needed something asap. I didn't even research too much. I saw Shorty's and decided to give it a try. We ordered the following, Buffalo Wings - Prolly the best and juciest I've had till date!! Chicken Ceaser Salad - Fresh and guilt free 😉 Pulled Pork Plate - The combination of the pork and slaw on the perfectly crispy bread is an amazing bite. Big portions! Chicken Breast plate - Very nicely grilled and charred. Must try!! The other table was devouring a full rack of ribs which looked so decadent! A special mention to the management there. Edena, I believe was her name, the sweetest person that has taken my order till date. Everyone else was very nice too!!

My wife and I recently visited Shorty's BBQ and used a coupon that saved us about $7 or $8, which was a great start to our meal. I ordered the Pork Steak with Coleslaw and Fries, while my wife had the Spare Ribs with the same sides. We both got a side of Garlic Bread, which was also very good—my wife especially liked it. The pork steak was tasty, and the coleslaw was awesome—definitely a highlight of the meal. I'm not a big fan of fries, but I have to admit that these were very good. My wife thought her ribs were just okay. After that, I also ordered a Beef Brisket Plate. Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment. The brisket was too dry for us; most of the pieces were overcooked. We did find two or three pieces that were really juicy, but they were the exception. The service was good, and overall, it was a positive experience, especially considering the savings from the coupon. While most of the food was great, I probably won't be ordering the brisket again.
